Colorado Empowered Learning recognizes that there are a lot of amazing resources already available to Colorado educators to support the combined use of technology, strong instructional practices, and student-centered learning. Often the greatest challenge these non-profit providers have is awareness - no one knows that their resources exist. Please find a listing of those the Colorado Empowered Learning community has identified as most helpful below. Have a new resource that you would like to see added to this list? Please contact us.
Open Education Resources
The K-12 OER Project and OERColorado platforms were managed from Fall 2021 - Fall 2024 under CEL through grant funding. As a result, the OERColorado Legislative Report was developed in September 2024 to showcase the project's mission, partners, platforms, and resources. Colorado educators are encouraged to access the free, openly-licensed materials on the OERColorado Hub and OERColorado Microsite digital repositories. For any questions about K-12 OER in Colorado, please contact OERColorado@gmail.com.

Ready To Use Projects
PBL Works, formerly The Buck Institute for Education, has created over 60 projects aligned with their gold standard for project-based learning. These are freely available and ready to be used - an excellent tool for supporting student-centered learning.
Discounted Access to Technology
The Colorado BOCES Association has negotiated discounted access to a variety of technologies, as well as other services, on behalf of Colorado districts. By pooling demand across the state, they make it possible for you to get better prices.
